A website is like a billboard on the information highway. The website needs an name (domain name) so people can find it. You also need an address or place to post your billboard/website. This address is located on a set of Host servers.
- A starter website can have three pages (ex. a home page, an about page and a contact page). My fee is approximately $500 and includes consultations, design, layout, optimizing for search engines. I will give you password protected access to the site server for basic editing of your website.
- To add additional pages to your website either in the initial stage or later, the fee is $180 per page. These could include pages such as an image gallery, product descriptions, a password protected members only page, a blog. See Sample websites . . .
- Hosting a website on an Internet server costs $192 per year.
- To purchasing a custom website name called a domain name (I recommend at least a 2 year registration with a privacy option) costs about $120. Here are several companies that specialize in registering domain names: Weebly, GoDaddy.com, NameCheap and Rebel.ca
- If you already have a domain name, we can contact the registrar to point your domain name to the new website address on the host server.
- If you want, I can setup custom email addresses (ex. [email protected]), at $60 per year
- Many people want to take over the control and the updating of their website. The easy to use online editor makes this doable. If you would rather I looked after most of the edits for you including updates, backups and regular search optimization, the maintenance fee would be $240 per year.
- An ecommerce page (1-10 items), includes setup and registering Google Merchant and Google AdWords for $750 (note: Google ad campaigns are extra)
